Thanksgiving and beyond hatches, lockdown starts today

We have some early bloomers! 12 mixed eggs are due tomorrow and they are already pipping!


We have 1 pip (pretty much a zip) and another pip!

I know that one is coming out of a silkie egg [dont know dad(4 possible dads)] and another is coming out of a light brown egg.

Yay mine are due tomorrow also... but I have one pip.... and one of my Bishops eggs is moving... I gotta tell ya an egg moving on its own is soooo strange! And I've got peeps yay so great to hear them talking in there.

3 hatched and 7 pipped. 2 havnt done anything.
1 silkie is hatched, and 2 orangy yellowy chicks (they look like they have the same mom and dad because they came out of the same looking egg, also I think one has fluffy cheeks!!! YAY, ee dad!

3 have hatched, one has pipped, and there's a very strong and ticked-off sounding peeper in another egg in second 'bator.

YAY! lots of new peeps...now where are all the pics??!

Really funny, about 18 seconds in, my DH shuts a door and they all jump simultaneously!

They are soo sweet! Video shows them warming up in a small container while they wait to go into their brooder. I need to band them all first but needed to get them out of the hatcher b/c the next round is due to go into lockdown.

Technically they should have went in earlier today but I had to drive to pickup the kiddos from their papa's (my dad) earlier than expected today so I'm still need to do a final candle and lock them down. Last count there were 9 good eggs so fingers crossed!

These are Chookchicks eggs so I've very excited to see the babies.

Ok out of 7 eggs that went into lock down 5 hatched! Yay babies... but... unfortunately of my spendy$$$ Bishop's BLRW eggs, only one hatched! So this is one expensive little baby that I'm so excited about! I named it Frankie because its a either or name. I'm hopping for a roo!
Here's my $50 frankie, its got a little blue kote on his legs cause I needed to be able to identify it from my other chicks.
