Thanksgiving eve blues!! PLEASE HELP

I have been cooking all day took Bothcered turkey out of frig and there are tons of pin feathers so hubbie called sister she said I could cook it without skin as long as I checked it and basted basted basted so I get it 1/2 skinned then she calles back and says cook with skin on then remove all skin and serve already carved, problem is I already skinned half of it. So I came here to get real answers

1. Is it savable?

2. How to save it?

3. Should I go to walmart and pray that there is a turkey that is already thawed?
 
You could try slapping the skin back on and then put the whole thing in a roasting bag. Good luck!
 
No problem ,just wrap him in tin foil and he will be fine
 
I think Miss Prissy said in a recent post that for skinless chickens you can wrap it with a lot of bacon to keep it moist~~I bet that would work for a turkey, too??

i'd keep it in a roasting bag or a tent of foil and baste like crazy.

the worst that can happen is that you don't love it. the best that can happen is that it turns out awesome.

no matter what, enjoy the day and your family.

the thankfulness and memories are going to outweigh the perfectness of the turkey in the end.
