Thanksgiving Hatch- Anyone want to join in?

Well, I wasn't going to hatch anymore until after Thanksgiving, but I have a buff orp with other plans (and a game mix hen who was very angry when I took her stash of eggs this morning, so she might just hide some from me, also). I guess if THEY want to hatch them, it's ok, as long as I don't have to have them inside the house during the holidays (already gonna have 15 chicks in the house during the holidays

)

It's the first time for both hens, though, so I don't know if they'll have it figured out or stick with it or not. The buff orp has two eggs this morning, will probably have more before the day is out. One of the eggs is a new layer (I think it is one of my cochins) and it is VERY pink. That's how I know it's a new layer - I did see my cochin boy getting busy with my odd colored cochin girl the other day - so here's hoping.

Ok, I put 18 eggs in at midnight! That's 20 total (because I had 2 refrigerated eggs in the bator). I'm waiting on the ones from the gal in Minnesota. Hopefully they'll come in today!!!

I'm in!!! I have a split hatch due the 24th and the 27th with EE, speckled sussex, Welsummer, RIR, BR, and SLW. So excited to have a couple new breeds for our farm!

I get to hatch with all of you on Thanksgiving too! I have 24 of Speckled Hens Delaware eggs just about ready to go into the incubator.
What a treat! When I wrote the date on each egg I glanced at the calander to see what day of the week and realized they were extra special.

You're not too far away... want some mix chicks? they're about three or four weeks old and are HUGE!!!! If you can get over here to get them, they're yours. Awww man... if I could believe me I would! But I think my husband would tar and feather me

I already have 40 (chickens, chicks, guineas) and I just put 5 eggs under our 2nd BO... thought he was going to die when I told him that one,
