French Fried Onions

Stir the soup, milk, soy sauce, black pepper, beans and 2/3 cup onions in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Bake at 350°F. for 25 minutes or until the bean mixture is hot and bubbling. Stir the bean mixture. Sprinkle with the remaining onions.
Bake for 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.

mushrooms, and I know James (Mom's friend) loves green beans.

I posted the recipe above. It is really easy and usually a hit! Like Saddina said boxed dressing is great. Another add in that makes it special and seem from scratch is apples.

Pumpkin pie or sweet potatoe pie....

I have a sweet potatoe pie recipe at home I am at school and will send it to you.

How about a marshmallow cranberry salad? I recipe for that as well.

Hope everything is well with father...

I know what you mean about family members not liking someone the best way is to smile all the time they will focus on why you are smiling. I really hope everthing goes good for your thanksgiving.

My sister says to buy the person their favorite beverage so everyone is happy.

Dessert will be cheesecake, cherry, chocolate, pumpin and (my first attempt at pecan) pies! I believe everyone must take pie home! Lol all my kids have different favorites!

Happy Thanksgiving!

If you are making mashed taters, get on allrecipe.com or one of the Paula Deen (I wanna look like her, love her hair, which I actually match!) but there is a good recipe out there for making m.t.'s the day before. You use cream cheese and they just heat back up in the oven, or if you have a smaller crock pot, I would put them in there and then just plug in on low earlier in the morning and keep an eye on them . . .all the desserts can be done the day before, and the jello ones are pretty and simple as can be!!! Seven layer salad is another good one, can be done the day before . . .or cole slaw. Just a few thoughts that might help you out, or give you some ideas! Good luck, and just kill her with kindness. We spend so much time being angry on the holidays, we don't hurt anyone but ourselves. The other person usually could care less if they upset us or anyone anyway, so we shouldn't waste our time being upset with them!!! Just my two cents, although I know how hard it is.
