You hit it. About a year ago we had a nieghbor that let her dog charge the kids. We tried everything with her. Called the cops animal control. Had wittnesses and all. So one night I lost it. I call the cops they said shoot them.We said tell them what you said. Get this she calls social services says i'm beating my kids selling drugs.Made al kinds of lies even said they never had a christmas. We got made Since it was a woman. Here goes the olelady She told her next she makes up lies are her dog comes in the yard she will shoot her.

Well they moved within a month. Maybe I need to turn her loose again. That lady was wrong. That was real dirty. If she would have came in the road I beleive she would have got her tail beat.

They got one more man I am MAD. I"ve been watching and waiting.I missed the I didnt hear nothing this time. I'm putting a baby monitor out there maybe this time I will catch them. I havn't reported it are nothing. Cause if I do THey want be around for week are so. I'm going kill them sorry but I'm tired of the nieghbors not having respect. I don't care if it's a little dog if it goes near my chicks are rabbit it's gone. Sorry if this affends anyone but if you have had this happen you would probly say the same thing. :thun

Is there anything left of the chicken? If so, tie it up in a bag with an invoice, and give it to the neighbor.

I have a security camera that I use to see who's laying. It's hooked up to a VCR/TV combo and set to record at specific times. If you're going to be gone, set it to record while you're gone. One of these times you'll catch it on film.

Here's the one I have

Right now i'm on a very very very tight income I got hurt at work and lets say were making it thats it. I wish I coukld afford one I would buy it,. I'm hoping the baby monitor might let me know when they are here. I'm tired of telling the kids we lost another one. I'm goint to get him. THen I will take him to them. I'm sorry if that sounds mean but We love our chickens My wife won't let us eat one. They are Pretty much family you know what i'm saying. We have four kids and we all take care of them. They play with they probly would sleep with one if I let them. I beleive the oldest ask me if she could. Nobody has no respect for other people property. You tell them chain them up. THey say I hate to see him chain up. Why did you get him. I'm sorry just venting. Thanks for being there

No worries... I understand. I live in constant fear of dogs, eagles, bears, lynx getting my chickens, not to mention mischievous kids. I can't watch them all the time.

I have faith that you'll catch the culprit... :aww

As sad as your story is... our neighbors are fighting their next door neighbor now over their dog being in their yard tearing up their new lawn furniture...here's the real surprise... the dog owner IS the local dog catcher.

I would have brought the gun out long ago. A talk to the neighbors is all it should take for them to keep their dog home. Yes, a dog may wander once in a great while but, on a regular basis no.

Our dog stays home except for the elderly neighbors who like her to come once in a while as he is alergic to dogs so they can't have one but, having her visit once in a while is okay. When they want her to come home they through a glass of water her way and she comes home. I had tried to train her not to go and found out they were incouraging her!

i'm so sorry for your losses.

my neighbor that is getting chicks right around the same time as us just lost their whole flock to a raccon. Now the raccoon is laying right next to the chicken pen, shot in the head twice (we all live on land over here... that is what makes me paranoid for my new little ones.)
