Actually I have been meaning for days now to get some new pics of them and post an update. They have all been standing out in the rain today even though the coop is open so I won't show you pics of the drowned rats!
I'll wait until they are fat and fluffy again. They are doing great though. Most of their feathers have grown back, they are so friendly now and I'm getting lovely HUGE eggs from about a third of them (still all over the place though, never in the nest boxes). They do roost now though.
Thanks for asking about them and I'll get some new pics soon.

Yes, How?
There's a "Farm Fresh eggs" place up the road a few miles. I've bought the eggs once but didn't have the huevos to look in the chicken house. The stench was powerful as the wind changed direction....I took my eggs hopped in the car and took off with the windows down and the A/C blasting to get rid of the smell.
I grew up near a shicken ranch, I had forgotten the smell.
The guy who owned the farm had placed an advert in our equivalent of your Craigslist saying that he was about to send all his chickens to slaughter as it was time to replace them, and if anyone wanted them to come get them. So we did!
