I honestly can't believe some people think the pandemic is fake

i honestly can’t believe some people are getting a vaccine that was developed so quickly. Other vaccines have taken 10-15 years to develop, yet people are begging to get this vaccine that was developed so fast

Yup. Assuming the pandemic was fake, what would somebody's motive be to fake a pandemic? What would be killing a whole bunch of people if not the pandemic?

these are the same people who think science doesn't exist, etc

with all the evidence right in front of your face, how could you believe the pandemic isn't real?

I would say more but I don't want to get ANOTHER "warning" today.. but I have QUITE a lot to say if somebody would like to pm me, regarding believing certian things

The reason that my family is getting it is less concern for ourselves, but worry that we could inadvertently spread COVID-19 and be responsible for the death of somebody else. I also have trust in the health system- I don't believe that something would be allowed to be distributed as medicine to millions of people (esp. from private companies!) if it wasn't safe.

We should probably all remember to be kind and courteous, even with people we don't agree with; we don't want to get this thread closed. @Fuchsia, I'm sorry for the brusque reply. It annoys me a lot when, in spite of mountains of evidence, people insist that the pandemic is fake. However, America is a free country, so you should be allowed to say your opinion without being attacked.

I cannot fathom that there is any reason for someone/s to purposely kill millions of people, as well as financially and emotionally ruin millions of others.
What makes you think it's fake?

People think it is fake because they haven't got it (at least not yet) and they don't personally know anyone who has (at least not yet). One of the most vocal COVID deniers on the international front just recently got COVID and died of it. He had also hosted several big parties while he was sick and by doing so exposed, and maybe infected, any number of people.
