True or they may not even know there’s a problem. Although theoretically they should hopefully be testing the fertility regularly but it could be a new issue or something they don’t know about.

Oh dear what a bummer I wanted to join but it was too cold to set up our breeding groups until this last week.

here’s one of my worst shipped air cells. It’s truly saddled, but seems pretty stable. It’s developing just like the rest.

Will this continue developing or quit? Will it not be able to pip? What would you do?

I’ll get a better photo at night with a light on top as well.

I just hatched a couple eggs that looked kind of like that at day 7, by day 18 they actually looked pretty normal. I'd definitely let it keep going if it were mine, I've read several posts on here where really badly saddled eggs hatched. For me the eggs that quit past day 7 all had loose air cells still (except one that had arrived with some long hairline cracks that I tried to seal with wax).

I've got 11 shipped eggs that go into lockdown tomorrow. When I first got them the air cells on all the eggs were really badly loose (it went down to the middle of the egg when tilted). Out of the eggs that had development I only had one quitter (it had a loose air cell still at day 15). Now at day 17 the air cells are firmly attached on all but two or three eggs. The air cells look a little more oddly shaped than in normal eggs but they really aren't too badly saddled.
