We draw straws. The loser gets to record hatch numbers. :gig
Aurora did it last year, so it's my turn.

Thank you. :bow

Bolded hatch totals are much appreciated. Not having to read rambling posts with addition required speeds up the time it takes to read 500 posts by a lot. Thank you!

I ended up setting a measly total of two eggs for the hatch along. My bantams still are barely laying, and they're the only birds I wanted to hatch from.

Would a group IM make it easier? No chitchat just numbers?

Well, my batch isn't looking too good as of tonight. :hmm Out of eight eggs, half appear to be clears (left in just in case, of course). One blood ring (also left in, but it was definitely a textbook blood ring). One developing, but kind of sloshy and no apparent movement when held still, so it may also be a quitter (again, left in just in case). Two developing perfectly and wiggling around (oddly, both from the hen I figured was least likely to have fertilized eggs, so I guess there's that!). Really hoping something comes of the clears... :fl I sort of saw this coming with how finicky those girls were being about the rooster they were with, though. :barnie

I hope he woos them over soon!

Or did you get a different one in with them?

I’ve made it all the way through and only have two clears of the 49.

You can tell the view is quickly fading, but on most of my blues I was able to see the dance. Some it was already too dark but you can tell they’re going strong I had to get out two lights.

My marans eggs were awesome. You could tell by the shadows they’re developing but then POP there came the embryo. Neat, neat.

Some of my wonky air cell ones may be losing weight faster than the other eggs, but I’m not going to change things for them, 35% humidity has everything else right on track I think.
