The 10th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!!!!!

I’d like to join! This will be my first attempt at incubating eggs ever! I’d like to hatch our call ducks, Muscovy and possibly some silkie chickens. One question I have is with the different types of eggs can you use the same incubator or do I need more than one!?

you can use the same one... just start the eggs at the right times... so they all are scheduled to hatch the same day.. see first post for days to hatch for different types

Speaking of quail, @ronott1 , I started getting some little eggs from my new year's quail babies. Yours should be starting any time now!

Thanks! Glad I'm entered. What day do we set eggs again? And yes, the Agility is part of a 4-H fair. I'll probably set 1/2 a dozen. We already ordered 21 chicks/poults.

Yes, I'll be taking another break after these silkies hatch out if everything goes ok. I don't want any big foot naked necks tromping the little mini chick's.
