So top egg is glued after it arrived. 3 eggs were smashed. 16 eggs were in “good” shape.
Middle picture is egg after hatch. He started on the right side. Ran into glue then moved over a bit and literally blew out the side to hatch.
Bottom chick with zip tie is Crack. He however has since slipped out of the tie so I don’t know which of the 5 roosters Crack is now. 10 hens and 5 roosters from the 16 eggs. 16th chick hit a vein while hatching and died. Super happy with this hatch.
So well worth trying to glue them.

Quick question guys, Still air incubator, would you think more eggs will hatch at 101.4 0r 100.4? I have my reptile thermostat calibrated and know it is exactly 3.6 degrees off. If I set it at 104 it should really be 100.4 but my acurite reads 100 and if I bump it to 105 which should be 101.4 the acurite reads 102. Which would you go with were it your hatch?

The temperature in the middle of the eggs should be 99.5. The top of the egg and the bottom are supposed to hit that temperature in the middle of the egg. So the top is warmer and the bottom is cooler.

You set the temperature of the incubator to get those temps. You should use two thermometers

I try to keep mine just at 100.5 with a fan. Haven’t had a still air in a very long time.

To add to so currently at 105 in reality 101.4 on top of eggs, a bbt (very accurate) thermometer shows next to egg(between egg and cardboard carton) reads 99.77. So That should be what is in the interior wouldn't you think? Should be good right?
Sounds very good to me. What’s humity like in your area. Mines very dry here.
