That needs to be figured out. I need to check but I think the one in the Genesis 1588 blows in and then out the vents at the bottom.Umm the fan blows upward in mine
Not bad. I usually run at 40% then bump to 60% for lock down. 35% should be fine. I understand it’s more a weight of egg thing but percentages has always worked for me.Well, we are very humid inside the house with all the pets lol but the incubator is in the least humid room with the heat on, which is the bathroom. With no water, the incubator will run about 12-16% humidity. I add enough to keep it between 25 and 34% humidity. Aiming for a semi-dry run.
If the incutherm is calibrated, trust it.
I have a Genesis Hovabator 1588 and a Hovabator 1583. So, my Incutherm Thermometer is readin 1° lower than the Genesis' built in thermometer. The 1588 is brand new (just got it today). Which do I trust? I've used my Incutherm in the 1583 and got a decent hatch rate, but that was last year. I could try the salt slushy test on the incutherm to check for humidity but I can't really do much for thermometer calibrating on it. If the hygrometer on it is correct, can I assume that the thermometer is too? Sorry for the all the questions.
