It is like Christmas when the incubator is delivered!

I bet it is!! And I bet it will really be Christmas once eggs arrive!! Haven’t ordered those yet. Figured I need to get the incubator and have it up and running for a while first before I do that. Even though it is really hard to lol

The way you do it is you order the quail eggs to be delivered the day after you get your incubator. Your bator runs for two days, you make sure it's stable. Your quail eggs rest for 24 hours, and then get popped in...babies in 3 weeks from now! lol

seriously, the addiction to hatching is ridiculous! And starting with quail.....double whammy!

LOL that’s a good method!! I should do that but didn’t know you could order eggs in advance? I thought they usually shipped them immediately after buying.

And wait... are quail that addictive!? I am gonig to be in trouble LOL I am thinking I might eventually hatch some webbies too

I set 3 eggs in each. We will see what happens. ;)
sitting on egg.gif I hope you have a good hatch!

When you get shipped eggs let the rest a day before putting them in the incubator is what they are saying

I’m in! This will be my very first time hatching. :celebrate

I’m going to hatch some Cream Legbars for eggs mostly and then a few Opal Legbars, some marans, and hopefully one other DP breed that I haven’t chosen. I’m going to process the cockerels of each as I’m looking for a breed I’d like to work with and have a little meat from the extra cockerels so I’d like to try a couple. Any suggestions on additional breeds would be great.

Super excited to get help here!
