the old version had dip switches for setting the temperature. The new style has up and down buttons on the display screen. It is easy to change temps on it.

That one has been out for quite some time now.
If the temperature is off on the Genesis 1588, you can reset it too:

Call GQF and get support. There could be something wrong with the controller

What’s a good entry-level cabinet incubator? I’m having a tough time searching the forum to find an all in one incubator thread. :-/ I’d like to get one and have it here within two weeks.

The best entry level cabinets are the ones you can find on Craigslist or similar. I found my old GQF 1202 for $200 on Craigslist. Nothing wrong with it except it needed a new humidity tray. The lady no longer lived at her farm and no longer hatched anymore. It has been sitting in her extra room collecting dust for years. It's on year 3 of running almost nonstop (random breaks here and there) for me with no issues

I wouldn't mind getting a Genesis. That big window on top would be so nice but I'm happy with my 2362E. It does what I need it to I'd really love to get a cabinet Hatcher eventually though!

I'm sorry guys... Due to my flock having Mareks, I will no longer be joining this hatch a long. Please take my name off the list. (I was planning on hatching 6 naked neck crosses for agility). However.........some good news: I have a broody sitting on some eggs. They will probably hatch in 2 weeks. I'll send pics if/when they hatch!!! So sad to miss this. I'll keep you posted though, I may decide to hatch and just hope for the best.
