I see it for $175 on their website? Are you looking at one of the package deals or something?

Of course it is still more expensive than the Hovabator but the nice thing for me is it comes with a turner, a huge window for viewing the hatch (the most fun part), and it is plastic so easy to clean. I don’t have an incubator yet so never used it but I was seriously considering getting the incuview due to it being plastic as opposed to styrofoam. The only downside though, at least to me, is that it holds less eggs than the Hovabator yet is more expensive or the same price. So that is somewhat of a negative. BUT. Since I likely would not be hatching a lot of eggs, it is not an issue for me and I like being able to see everything during the hatches. But if you were hatching a large number of chicks, it might be more worth it to get the Hovabator. Especially since you already have a turner. For me, I don’t so it would cost about the same as the Incuview so it just comes down to personal preference for me and I still am not sure.

*$189 is what I meant to type. That's with shipping. It's not a bad deal really and I doubt I would ever hatch more than 2 dozen eggs at once so the extra size of the hovabator isn't really a requirement. Also having new everything including turner would probably cut down the chances of something going wrong... I do really love that it's plastic. My FI was styro on the interior and it was such a pain to try to clean. No matter what I did it always had a smell to it... ok. IncuView it is. Think I'll order it next paycheck so I can set it up beforehand and make sure all is dandy. Might even give it a go on the eggs my mom has in her fridge before the Easter hatch. She has some fertile eggs still from the 2 girls taken by the fox a week ago. Long shot but it would be awesome to get babies from them. They were 2 of my favorite girls. Blue Cochin (Ms. Fluffy Pantaloons) and a Dark Cornish (Big Momma). The cochin didn't lay much but Big Momma was a good layer for the most part. Daddy is a RIR so who knows? If they hatch they may be some nice layers.

Thank you all!

Ohhh okay. I thought you meant just the price of the unit itself. It does seem like a good deal. And yeah, I was kind of worried that the styro would be hard to clean and/or unsanitary or something or eventually fall apart. Idk, maybe I am paranoid. :lau but I do love the plastic. Seems so much easier to clean. And the huge hatch window makes it more fun. You should definitely get it and DEFINITELY incubate those eggs!! :D
