Dorking Chicks are so cute!

They are the cutest!! :love But I may be a bit biased. ;)

Pipd how do the Dorkings do for you?

I absolutely adore them, but my birds are more pets than anything else, so it's their even temperament and loving, quirky personalities that I find irresistible. :love I wrote a whole article about them and their differences within and across the varieties I've owned, if you're interested in that aspect: https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/pipds-peeps-the-dorkings.74372/

Production-wise, I can't complain. They're steady layers overall, and it's been the two pullets (and my Marans) who have kept us supplied with large eggs for much of the winter. Some of the older girls are already resuming egg laying for the year, too. :)

They are dorks. :lau

Of course they are!

Short legs and five toes make them quite undue when they walk

Yup, my Dorks! Fat, cuddly, silly hens. What's not to love? :love

I have a drop box folder for smileys so when I see one, I move to over to that folder and save it for later.
