I am off to bed soon too. The part I needed to fix the furnace was delivered at 7:30 and I was able to fire up the furnace at about 9:15. It is so nice to have heat again!

those are just the breeds I’ve started hatching this year. I usually hatch 10 months out of the year. I will hatch polish, d’uccles, d’anvers, some more rare marans, blue laced red wyandottes, blue wyandottes, silver laced wyandottes, ducks, turkeys....who’s knows what I’ll add to the line up. Hahaha

Never heard a quail crow before

Different breeds crown different ways. I breed coturnix and bob whites. We have native quail that are illegal to keep without a permit. You should google it. I love them!!!

Lol pretty much. I have a commercial Hatcher and incubator. I don’t really like hatchery birds and try and stick to breeders who breed healthy birds. I breed for our local feed stores & small farms. I will also rent out space in my incubator for people who don’t have incubators. I have chicks hatching today!
