I like them so far!

They seem like cool birds!! And they lay pretty eggs haha nd best of all they don’t seem to need a huge coop or anything. Which makes it better than chickens in a way cause if I added more, I would have to build a huge way bigger coop for them lol although I am adding 5 more in April but more than that, I would have to expand. So I like the idea of quail. And they seem like cute little pets. I am considering getting some cool colored ones and/or cool egg colors.

Igorsmistress made me want quail. As well as being cute, I need eggs. Better to have tiny eggs in two months, than no eggs for six months.

I've been toying with getting quail for a few years. Maybe down the road after I get my own property again. Might have a lead on that. Seems my grandmother has been parting out and selling some of her acreage in a neighboring county. Going to talk to her about a patch across the road from my parents and see if she would be willing to let me buy about 20 acres to put a house on. Oh I would be so happy. My mind already has so many ideas about what I could do and build! I would love for my baby to grow up on a farm instead of in a city.

Anyway back to poultry, I've never had quail eggs. What's the taste compared to chicken and duck eggs?

Very true!! They really do grow up so fast!! Which is great cause like you said, you can get a lot of eggs fast!! And the eggs are so pretty. And supposed to be very nutritious.

I hope you get the land!! I think that would be awesome!!

And I am not sure on taste but I think they are supposed to be very nutritious. But of course they are tiny so it takes quite a few to equal one chicken egg lol

Found all these last night and considering them but maybe I should just try some regular quail at first, idk. But I like variety and like the idea of having so many different feather colors and/or egg colors haha although the third one doesn’t look very blue at all and may not even be true Celadon? So kinda considering the fourth one instead. They look way bluer and supposedly they have been working on it and like 98% of them will lay blue. Which sounds promising. I kind of want to order 50 just so I can have 20 different feather colors instead of 6 :lau  and then also order the Celadon so I can have blue eggs :lau  I think I am going a little crazy with the quail addiction already before I even have them LOL I should probably slow down

Yes, I held her down on the ground with her arm twisted until she did a google search and made payment. Then I whispered MUSHROOM in her ear and ran away.

I don't know about duck eggs but quail eggs are richer I guess, just different but very good.

Don’t be silly! Order 100 to make sure you get enough of what you want!
