I had to find the highest protein I could get my hands on and actually mix in the oyster shells to powder or they wouldn't touch it. If I remember right we used Nutria (that was the highest protein we could get locally).

My birthday is the 14th lol sorry... but i am scared. Our incubator will not heat up passed 99.6 at the moment. I wrapped it in a towel. We shall see. Ugh

My hen chickens are starting to lay EEs and a mix pen. Getting 5 to 9 eggs a day. Quail are starting getting about 10 eggs a day. Got first turkey egg today but missed set deadline for hal.

Pheasants haven't laid yet bummer. But saving up so will have eggs to set.

Set the turkey anyway. People will still have a few late hatchers in their incubators, so you will have company.

Call eggs went in today! And some bantam ams, but those don't count for the HAL of course.

So, so far so good with the fan being added. Incubator has stayed at 99 for the past 7 hours. or so. I can not see 99.5 so in ya'll's opinions should I aim for 99 or 100?

My vote leave it 99.5 may cause more issue trying to go up

If it's easy to adjust and you know your thermometer is accurate, if go for 100. That's just me though
