I didn't intend to hatch on Easter Day but I finished Cleaning my Incubator the Night of March 31st, set 42 eggs on April 1st, and April 21st is Easter Day

I hope your shipped eggs do well. My March shipped eggs I only had 6/18 hatch.

Better than me. I had 4 out of 24 total and 13 made it to lockdown. Hope they do better in a circulated incubator now.

So I have the 12 White Bresse that were set a few days ago and the 20 Cort Quail eggs set today. So exciting. The temp is staying pretty steady and since they got to sit so many days before going in the incubator I started turning the chickens after 1 day and the quail are being turned already.

I added one more quail egg tonight. I have 37 of them in the incubator now

They are all large breeds. I asked for an "assortment" from the local breeder I got the eggs from. Have some light blue eggs, some olive green eggs and some dark Maran eggs...so there are a bunch I can't see that clearly into. Will watch for spoilage and leave them be till after the hatch.

Also, you should start seeing an air sac starting to develop pretty bright during the second week.

I messed up somewhere and I won't be picking my eggs up to participate in the Easter Hatch-A-Long until tomorrow and even with them being Silkies I believe I'm still going to be a late bird, lol. I look forward to watching everyone else's updates though!
