I candled today, instead. I am proud of myself for being able to wait this long, lol. I usually candle on day 3 or 4, but this time I vowed to leave them alone until day 6 or 7.So who's candling tomorrow on day 7?
i hatched 3 buttons in march! they are so adorable! 1 is a red range color, 1 pearl, and 1 wild type (dark brown). they are almost 4 weeks old and currently in my shed brooder with my 3 week pearl coturnix.yay!

i set 1 double (my first time) and at early candling only appeared to be 1 viable embryo, but now @ lockdown embryo seems really large compared to normal eggs, it has me wondering if I missed something!! any thoughts??I candled today, instead. Pulled 4 of the shipped eggs and 12 of my flock's eggs, so I have 40 left in one incubator. One is a double yolker BR with 2 viable embryos. Didn't mean to set any doubles, lol.
