The chick on Mom is very sweet to see!

Sounds like me. I had to pull out an old large dog kennel to put tbis last batch in. Bathtubs work great in a pinch. It’s scaring me that there’s only one more week until hatch day! I have to kick out a batch of chicks before these hatch, but at the moment I don’t have anywhere to put them.![]()
Starting to feel super nervous about her arrival. Getting the crib set up the other day helped a bit but now I'm just sitting on my hands with a million and one thoughts rushing through my head.Ventilation is very important at the end of incubation. Vents need to be full open and if incubating in a small room, make sure there is some fresh air in there.Well, day 14 and I finally feel pretty safe pulling the clears and blood ring. Down to 3 eggs in the bator, but all three are looking good still. Didn't have very much air cell growth this past week, so I opened the vent all the way and didn't top off the water. Gotta get these eggies ready for hatch.![]()
