Seems like there is always one or two that want to do that. I have one chicken that still wants to do that to her mom and she is old enough to have chicks herself

Well, day 14 and I finally feel pretty safe pulling the clears and blood ring. Down to 3 eggs in the bator, but all three are looking good still. Didn't have very much air cell growth this past week, so I opened the vent all the way and didn't top off the water. Gotta get these eggies ready for hatch. :fl

Pulled two more tonight so I’m at 41/49 shipped eggs so far! There’s a couple left I’m questioning.

I was convinced a couple were dead it looked like a red Milky Way. But there was plenty of movement in those.

ALL the jelly air cells are gone, most of the saddles that were small are gone too, sucked up into the day 14 air cell. Yay!!!!!

I’m also happy to report that the egg I had been incubating upside down and turned on its side looks wonderful!

Getting excited for the last week! Good luck everyone.

Did a quick candle this morning since I haven't done one in a few days. All my developers are still going. There was a couple I'm a little worried about but I saw movement so time will tell. Air cells seemed a little large so I went ahead and bumped the humidity up a bit. Don't want the air cells getting too much bigger the last few days. Fingers crossed!

Side note: Only 5 more weeks until my first little "chick" is due. :barnie Starting to feel super nervous about her arrival. Getting the crib set up the other day helped a bit but now I'm just sitting on my hands with a million and one thoughts rushing through my head.

Ventilation is very important at the end of incubation. Vents need to be full open and if incubating in a small room, make sure there is some fresh air in there.
