Are you sure you don't just want to take the short answer?

I'll start by saying the whole notion of Santa Claus really offends me. When did that start? Just like the whole idea that Jesus was born on Dec 25th - I think they hijacked that from some old pagan festival, was it?
And then, I'll say that I've had bad experiences with pekin ducks, as well as people on here who were patronising and cruel because they didn't hear the whole story, then dissed me for not taking care of "the poor things" properly. (Some people on this forum need to grow up and stop assuming

)

And finally, at heart, I just really don't like animals... I only stayed on BYC for as long as I did because of the friends I've made.

(Not that there's many of them left now that everyone knows what I'm really like.)

I have to agree on the avatar, i am not sure what it is?

But I do agree with the santa thing, lie to a kid and tell him a fat man sneaks in to their house brings toys in the middle of the night? What does that teach a kid? They get older and realize everyone lied to them.

Oh well, it is tradition!
