Okay, so I'm sure there are plenty others of these but, still, HAVE FUN!!!!!!! Oh, and just post something that you have never said until you got chickens!! Here we go!!!!

"Dad!! Why are my chickens standing out in the pouring rain!!!???"

Chickens get outa that! Quickly and you can get some spinach!
Look at them, they have a perfectly good coop that is warm and they are sleeping on the deck!
Pepper ( my dog ) stop eating the chook poop!

To my husband I ask: "Honey, is that a chicken I just saw running across the Home Depot parking lot?" Hubby: "Yes, I believe it is, a chicken in the parking lot, that's odd...maybe she needs some coop supplies too!"

Yesterday my hubby and I headed to HD, as we pulled into the parking lot a beautiful RIR hen went streaking across the parking lot to a grassy knoll area.

A question I never thought I'd ask at Home Depot: "Do you know you have a chicken in the parking lot?" They laughed and said that she showed up that morning and laid an egg too. Also a chicken lover that works there was inside getting a box to capture her and was taking her home to her flock. I was so happy to hear that or else she was coming home with me. We live in a country area so it was no surprise that someone snatched her up.
