YAY! Welcome in!Wait a minute! I was just looking at the calendar, and realized that we have our McMurray chicks coming on the week of the 8th of April, and last time they hatched on the Saturday before, which is April 6th, and that is only 1 WEEK after this hatch-along ends! HOORAY!!! I can join you all!!!Yippee!!!! I am so excited! This will be my first hatch-along! Let's see, I will be setting at least a dozen Delawares, and a dozen or so Ameraucanas, and possibly a few Olive Eggers from our one BCM who is in with our Ameraucanas right now.
Pheeeeew! I am so glad that worked out! Count me in everyone!!!!![]()

Im in for my first!!
I did it. I went and bought an incubator at IFA when I got feed and pine shavings tonight. I have no idea how good it is or anything, but I figure that if it's a terrible one, it will be less encouraging for me to hatch more chicks than I need. I think it said it was a Farm Innovators 2100 - still air.
So I am officially in on this hatch! I've got my Icelandics separated so that I can collect their eggs come the first of March. I hope I get more than one or two eggs from them in that time, lol![]()
Green!
Don't know. It was sold before I got a hold of herHope I can find another one for a good price before March.![]()
Last year I made up some plans for a build it yourself bator if you would like to build your own I could e-mail them to you. It is really simple and costs about $25. Works like a dream as well. I have never bought a commercial bator. If you look on my profile you can see the plans there and hopefully read them if not and you want them I can send them to you.
