I also tried to make those bunny roll things you see on the internet, where you cut the ears with scissors. just got out of the oven 2 minutes ago,

so much for making bunnies.. more like rolls with little tiny burnt tips on them.

I made this bottle waterer for my chicks yesterday. Reason I made it upside down was to leave cap loose and let air in. First one I tried was in the cap. It would get air locked. It works great. No more changing water all the time from them dirtying it

I like the nipple waters too!! DO you have them ever drip??? I keep a pan underneath to limit the wet area.

I received my first set of eggs for the hatch, today !! 9 Lovely blue Aracauna eggs, from Deb & Ray. They were packed great and arrived intact

Setting my first batch of eggs today!
My kids and I are pretty thrilled to be starting our flock, but I admit I'm nervous I'll mess something up.
We got these gorgeous eggs in the mail, waiting on 6 more.

yes occasionally. I keep something under them too. The chicks let them drip also. If they do drip I take apart and clean the prices inside and put back together. Hard water .... I use my fridge water being its purified to help with it. Intact I have a. Filtration system on whole house. Inside our pump house.

Ack, my eggs were shipped out on Tues, but the tracking number I was given doesn't work! *chews nails* I hope they get here in time to set on Sat!
