I have a hatching/incubating question. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I set eggs due to hatch today and see nothing. no pips, no chicks nothin. Humidity is 65% and it's 100 degrees in the incubator. What am I doing wrong?

Looks like you are abut right with temps..although, I lower my temp when in lock down. They seem to be a little sluggish, tire more easily if the temp is high. I have my temps around 98 for lock down. Maybe you can try lowering the temp a bit.

i have a question.... i have heard on here some folks using vinegar in chicks and chickens water...
and i also read another place online of them putting a tablespoon of sugar in a qt of water for newly born chicks
what are the thoughts on this? the vinegar (with mother)sounds interesting since i know it is great for humans and helps build
the immune system but anyhow i should have chicks soon and meant to ask this earlier and kept forgetting! THANKS!!

another thing is our neighbor has chickens and doesn't use medicine to keep them healthy but uses natural things he "worms" them with
cyanne in the summer and fall.....any thoughts on this also would be helpful!!
This is a great thread that will answer your questions and give you great ideas of raising your flock naturally. Lots of friendly folks there that share.

My fllock all get Unpasturized Apple cider vinegar with mother in their water as soon as they come out of the incubator and as long as I own them. I use glass or food grade plastic waterers.

You don't need to use medicine to keep your flock healthy, an un-medicated flock is a healthy flock. I also use natural stuff as a preventive, the only time i used a wormer was when someone sent me a rooster that had mites and was sick when i got him. I worked him and gave him lots of vitamins and started frementing my feed, I had him close to a month and for tbe first time his comb is starting to get red, it was yellow when i first got him.
