The 4th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long

I didn't enter the hatch-along this time - didn't see the point since Canadians can't win any of the prizes - but I am setting eggs today for hatching on Easter Sunday so I have been following along sporadically with the hatch here. Since I started my own Canadian facebook page I have more than enough eggs to buy/swap/trade! So exciting.

Ahh, but there are SOME contests all BYCers anywhere can enter.... Regardless of location. Like mine, for instance. Don't even have to be a Hatch-a-long participant! Remember the Hen Tiara and Rooster Crown Contest I started? we just realized that my timmy boy (hes a goat) doesnt have polio, but a stupid urinary tract infection. nobody has the stuff we need for him except online which will take too long to get here. hes gonna die!!!!

As a reminder, post pictures of your total eggs set for the hatch - so we can record them and get the "How many will hatch contest going".  The eggs need to be set between 3/7-3/11 to qualify for this hatch.

Not a vet?
Maybe Go to a pet store that has fish and you can get ammoxillin for fish tanks
. Grown humans take about 250 mg of it so dont kow hwo big your goat is...but any amount would be better if hes gonna die anyway.
With it he may have a chance.
Also sulfur is the best for urinary infections in humans dont know if goats cant take sulfur or not .but again if he will die without help.. might be worth a try...

Surely there is something natural u can try .... If I thought something was gonna die I would prob try anything ..... I would try cranberry either in juice form or capsule surely couldn't hurt .... I hate that I am sorry :-(

Im so sorry I will Pray for Phoenix and Your family, I know it would hurt us as if we lost a Child If we lost one of our Pets. Hope I do not offend anyone For saying A prayer!

Why would anyone be offended? I don't think one needs to be religious to have an open mind or heart. No harm in prayer!

I think it's similar to receiving well wishes from someone when you're sick, going through hard times, etc. It means they're thinking about you and they care about what you're dealing with. I'm certainly not offended by prayer!

Nope me either and we all deal with everything our own ways, it would be like me getting upset because someone wasn't going to pray for me! This seems to be a nice group of people on this forum, over the years I have been on a forum or two where people got upset when anything religious is mentioned. We all seem to be open minded and mature enough to handle someone that might have religion and those who do not as well. If you don't like what you read, then don't pay any attention to it and go on.
I personally have read many threads/posts on this forum and said a prayer quietly to myself for those in need no matter the situation big or small. Everyone handles things differently and no need to judge.
