I am afraid to go with no humidity - without anything, my reading is at 10%, but i think thats just as low as it goes.... if you are not using anything, i guess i wont worry (too much!) about my lower reading.....Wet sponges add humidity. You can use clay pellets from the reptile section of the pet store to add heat ballast and dry they'll reduce humidity, damp, they'll increase it. I ignore humidity and don't add water until someone pips, but each can choose what works best in their incubator/region. Look in my signature for the 'why' and 'how' of a dry incubation method.
