Aww... to bad you live so far away. I love my Cochin, she is the biggest, sweetest chicken in my flock. We named her Mellow Yellow. I would totally get more.no one wants to drive to get any! you would think since we are this close to cabelas its worth a drive not? I dont want stuck with tons of chicks! Everyone wants my silkies and no cochins : ( and there are 9 growing strong in there, uggggg what to do!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess I gotta hatch them, it would be abortion at this point, and I DID put them in the bator. But I am seriously 2nd guessing the cochin, maybe get rid of roo and keep two hens for my broodies since they can set on a doz eggs the fatties LOL

Waiting...Waiting...Waiting... Hmm, maybe I will candle some of the questionable ones again tonight... This IS day 10, right? (for those who started on Sat, March 9th at Noon) I DID actually get my old Mini Maglite flashlight working again today! Just had to change the bulb - with that handy spare they put in the end of the flashlight!Unfortunately it is NOT a Maglite Pro - just the regular one, but it does seem to have a pretty bright focused beam... here's hoping it shows things up clearly!![]()
