I hope all you on the East coast are safe and warm during this blizzard weather. At least it is the weekend. It would be awesome except for the wind. Here in Ohio we only got the cold.

Yes, my thoughts exactly. All my online buddies from up that way have not been posting. I hope they are sleeping in or out making snow angels.

SNowblowing for me most of yesterday. Started at 8am, took a few breaks, in bed by 8pm and back at it this morning. Didn't need to go anywhere--no school on Friday and no school MOnday. Kids use up snow pants, socks and gloves with each trip outside. First thing this morning they were sledding on the drive!!!! ( Long drive, not even close to the road.)

Silly hubby went to work yesterday! So I taught myself how to plow the driveway with the ATV W/blade. Got it stuck in all the snow a couple times, but got out ok. Did some hand shovelling, and hubby managed to get the SUV in ok last night. He can do a better job of it today. Haven't seen this much snow since I lived in Winnipeg or Montreal!

Yes, thanks. It's very clever :) I have a problem with getting the humidity equal all over my cabinet incubator. It runs at 30% at the bottom where the water is and 50% at the top, where the eggs are. I need the bottom to be more humid for hatching the eggs.
Is there a fan to move the air around??

Congrats on your 1000th post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HELP!
WE are SEARCHING AND SEARCHING for HATCHING EGGS for a young member of BYC in the Prince Edward Island. New Foundland, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia areas. We are combining resources to get them hatching eggs! We keep coming up short!

SOMEONE HAS to be close enough to ship! Even mixed breeds are fine!

SUGGESTIONS WELCOME!!
Where is this person from (who is this person)? I have asked on a few other groups in the hopes of helping out :)

Good Sunday Morning. We are T-28 days till set day for Chicken Eggs.

Our Fun Chicken Fact for the day...

The closest living relative to the Tyrannosaurus Rex is the Chicken.

(Funny...but I have a hen that moves her head kind of like you would think a T-rex does...It all makes sense now.)
Haahaa--we had a rooster named Raptor!!! The name fit!

Is it a problem to hatch Muscovy/Welsh Harlequins alongside standard chicken eggs in the same incubator? I was told they need a higher humidity. I have some of each and was hoping to hatch them together.
I did out of convenience. Had a 30% hatch rate. I didn't go the extra mile to wet and cool the eggs, maybe I should have . . . the 3 that hatched are an annoyance to the parent trio.
