Still absolutely NOTHING here.

So depressed. I wish I knew what went wrong! I know they were alive at lockdown! I saw several of them moving, they looked pretty good on development!

Planning on candling and listening to all the eggs tonight as soon as it gets dark enough to candle. Then will decide if we can assist any live ones.
I may have the answer to this by the time I finally catch up, but I find eggtopsies really answer a lot of my questions. This time I found two that pierced the membrane at the wrong end of the egg and died in shell. I also found one that internally pipped and part of the membrane was really dry and the other part was not. I am assuming this is a humidity issue but that surprises me because mine was fairly high. Good luck...see you in ohhhhh 80 or so posts.

I'm reallt worried now, still nothing, no pips, no chirps, no movement, I see no internal pips. :hit :hit and momma Brodie seems anxious to get off the nest and who can blame her this is the 5 week on the nest as the first two attempts none of the eggs were fertile.
so I am biting my nails down to the quick :hit :hit :fl I'm still praying that maybe they are just late

76 alive 3 died shorty after hatch 2 died in shell. 1 more pipping as we speak. will check for duds tonight. I don't candle113 set (not done)
Wow that is totally impressive! Way to go! Someone may have answered this already but for this hatch the rate is figured as #chicks/# of eggs SET, so you don't subtract clears or quitters.

Please help. What is going on here:

This was my assisted hatch. I'd really like to save her. What can I do? Advice?
Thanks :)
I cant tell 100% so is this its vent or its navel?
I thought it was the vent, but closer inspection shows it must be the naval. That little string is attached to it. The yellow is a tiny piece of hard boiled yolk I put in there. I know they can go for days without food, but she was so weak after being shrink wrapped I put a little in there. I also dripped vitamin water in her beak a few times.

The chicks are almost dry. Can I put her in the brooder in a coffee cup? The incubator is at 99.8°/60%h. The brooder temp is slightly lower temp, but much lower humidity

Well, shoot. I've somehow managed to kill over half of my eggs...again. I put 21 eggs (20 confirmed alive, 1 questionable) into lockdown. Humidity at 60%, although it dipped down to 50-55% once. 8 hatched with no problems. The last chick pipped yesterday around noon and I had to help him out at 4 p.m. today. He just wasn't getting anywhere. I have two dozen more in the other incubator to hatch next week.I'm not giving up! I'll accept any suggestions/advice--I have more chicks due in 9 days.
