Ladies I need your help i need a hydrometer and thermometer for my new Incubator its a Red wood Leahy and very old but works like a charm.

Its also better for my house since i have the cats and they used the other one once the chicks hatched as a TV screen and scratched the Styrofoam up LOL .

Darn them anyhow any recommendations ?
Pet stores have hygrometers in the reptile section. For a thermometer, I'd get the spot check - it's $30 but works wonderfully.

I use my own, I don't go with those incubator thermometers! Spot Check sounds good.
It's worth every penny.

I've finally got a duck laying.

My magpie call is I think, found 2 duck eggs in the past few days. They are in my bator now testing fertility, and looks like I'll be setting ducks and serama's for the hatchalong. Still

I don't compare mine to other thermometers.  Are you sure the other 3 are correct?  Mine reads the proper temperature and my hatches are right on time.

It's worth every penny.

Congrats!

I know right? This was my frustration last week. Deciding what to believe! I have two aquarium thermometers in there that read 100 even and one just a shade under 100. The digital thermometer that comes with the brinsea octagon advance says 99.8. The spot check says 97.6. All preety much at the same spot inside too.

Good morning all. Its is a cold day today BURRRR I woke up to 18 degrees and snow WHIPPING around with this nasty wind we are having. Im Bummed because today was the day I was going to rotate my chickens to make my Breeder pen. Im running out of time before I have to start collecting for this hatch along *SIGH* weather is not on my side. I hope Ill get a chance to do it this week otherwise im gonna have to look around for eggs and I was sooooo hoping to set some of my own eggs.
