Do you have a baby kangaroo?
When I was a kid I had a few attempts at having a baby kangaroo. We used to hunt (yeah I was a big bad mean lad that shot Skippy) roos for dog meat and to cull them down to a tolerable level - they are very destructive on fencing. Anyway - on occasion we would end up with a joey.

It was tough to feed them correctly as the female roo produces age specific milk - yup - 2 nipples - 2 different formulas. Invariably they would get scours and die.

I have yet another couple questions for you all on here.
1) How do you guys determine hatch rate?

I see it was already answered by the source (Kelly), but I'm just getting caught up. Chicks hatched/Egg set, ie 12/16=75%

That's for first hatch on the New Year's Eve hatch contest. Here just post a picture of your incubator full of lovely eggs!

I wasn't going to do this but.....I just ordered some eggs! I have a dozen or so of my own mutts in the bator to hatch this weekend, so what's a few more chicks! This will be fun!

Did I read somewhere that we take a pic. of the bator with the world clock displayed in the background, or is that for another part of the contest. Like hatch time?
That is for the first hatched contest. Thus proving that you set them on time and had the first chick hatched.

I wasn't planning on doing that contest - but if you all want it, I can arrange something.

i wish i had something to donate. but unless people want a bunch of boring barnyard mix eggs shipped to them from a person who has never shipped eggs, i cant.

could we do something where we have a big prize that costs a lot of money, but nobody wants to pay for it in full, so they split the cost up? say for a brinsea incubator or something.

Hi, I would like to join. I set Muscovy eggs (first timer) on the 23rd of February and will set some chicken eggs and maybe some quail eggs if the EDS has run its course or I might eat them and start over. Also, if anyone has some tips on hatching Muscovy eggs I would love any help. Thanks A
