I just ordered the circulation fan for my Hova Bator, so I'm going to be even more ready this time around!

awesome! what a flock!I just walked into my bedroom and glanced out the window. My first thought..............how'd the turkeys get out? Nope, a flock of 31 full grown turkeys walking by. Of course when I opened the door to the deck they all moved to the far side of the lawn, but it was quite a sight.
I think he was trying to entice her into the next generation............LOL

no, usually once they have one or two they ditch the nest to find some food.I have a broody!!
Now the next question from a Newbie.... will she sit until the eggs all hatch? she has been in the nest for 2 weeks or so, i finally left her two eggs of her own the other day... just to see if she in fact is going to stay with them. so far so good. IF i give her eggs that i want to hatch for the easter hatch... will she stay that long on the nest? its 9 days away.. OR will she give up if they dont hatch around 21 days.....
Quote: but i also might add thats just from my experience. ever hen is different
