The 4th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long

I am doing a staggered hatch with some eggs having been set yesterday and some being set in a few days- should I post them as I set them or when the official "march 9th day" is here? I already took pics of the ones i put in the incubator- just wanted to see when i should post.

OK, have the new Dickey incubator and hatcher all set up in position, will get to play with calibration today. Need to get them ready for the Easter Hatch, set day is coming quickly!

Question - are the photo contests open to ALL BYC members, or just the ones who are participating in this Hatch-along? I am asking because my sister has some cute photos that she would like to enter herself (BYC member DucksnDaffodils) but she is technically not hatching in this hatch-along. Although, even though I am kind-of the main one taking care of the hatching this year, the chicks are for our whole family's laying flock...

So can she enter the contests too? Pretty please?

Read each contests rules, individual contests could be different, but most do allow all BYC members so refer to each contest!

If you check the rules in the first post of the contests threads it will tell you if it is open to all BYC members or just hatch participants. It varies by contest.

Well, to be fair, it's my old setup combined with the new ones. I doubt I'll be using the little ones much anymore except as backup, but during transition, they'll all be down there. LOL.

I'm kind of attached to "Little Red" now, as I've basically gutted and replaced everything within it. It was my little special needs incubator, and I hate to give up on it now that it appears to be flourishing.

Definitely would rather have excess incubator space than not enough. Plus, the deal was too sweet on that pair of Dickey's, I couldn't pass it up.
