I set 8 goose eggs today.

Have you ever hatched them before? Are the difficult to hatch or am I thinking swans?

OK, have the new Dickey incubator and hatcher all set up in position, will get to play with calibration today. Need to get them ready for the Easter Hatch, set day is coming quickly!

Its clearly visible you have a major problem with your set up there

Oh how was it? My DD wants to watch it we have seen all the other ones. I feel she is too young to watch it so I watch them first but we really like it.

it is really good. Very intense!!!

So I noticed that the momma hen who went broody under a wheelbarrow and scared the heck out of me one day when she showed up with her two babies (on jan. 7th) had no interest in the one chick that is still alive. I hadnt seen them with each other in awhile. And tonight when I went down to do the chickens, I saw Fluffy and Frieda (my two crippled hens) had adopted her!! she was under Frieda but fluffy was trying to get her under her wing too!!! when the chick tried to come out to see what we were doing frieda shoved her back under her wing.

i got a picture but I am going to go watch a movie then download it later.

i was trying for a month to get my silkie pen to lay me some eggs. No such luck, i was spoiling them! I dont think i am going to even get one in time to set.
