Oh I would love to see a photo of your set up! How do you keep your them eating and drinking. Do you get them up a few times a day? Not sure how I ended up with two right now, but they have been that way for the last week+ so now they better stay that way for at least three more weeks.

I appologize in advance for the mess, clean out is this weekend.....






They both will sit on the nest or take turns. One will eat, the other will sit. and then switch. She currently has 3 eggs left under her to hatch out the 12th.

YAY!! Glad you came over Blarney. This is gonna be soo.. much fun!

my oldest son Matthew won 3 rd in region in FFA CDE in wildlife. On to state 23 of March. His school took 1rst in region! Proud of him. Also they have about 7 more different competition to do. Busy, busy, busy.

Tomorrow, Saturday the 9th at Noon is set day.

Oh yeah!

my youngest son Kaden are tied for first in soccer. Kaden has always been top scorer on his team. This year he has some competition on his team. Lol another boy is 1 point behind him. I assist coach this team..Proud of him.

Good Friday morning everyone!! Hope you all have a great day. I will be heading to the docs today. I think I have tonsilitus and ear infection again... UGH...

Tomorrow is the big day!!!

The last of my eggs under the broody should hatch soon and then I'll be setting and undetermined number under her again. Will post pics and numbers once they are under her.. Might even put some in the incubator or Tues as that's when my bator babies will hatch.

I have made the deviled egg chicks before. They were a HUGE hit at the party and really easy to make.

do you have pictures of how they turned out? I must be the only one around here that cant make them.

then again, i cant even draw a stick figure!!

We moved our bantam cochins downstairs to the basement and put them in a pen we built for them. Placed a heat lamp on top and within a couple days, she started sitting. We took the lamp away and she's been sitting since Dec!!!!

Coo! I need to clear some space in the garage. It'll cost a fortune to heat, though... Thanks for the tips, I'll give that a try!

2. I can't win anything anyway
   

43 eggs set - some are shipped eggs and some are from my birds

13 welsummers
17 barnevelders
3 blue barnevelders
6 olive eggers
2 black sex links (BR covered by welsummer)
2 cream lebar (covered by my barnevelder)

great packing!! none were broken, as if i need to even say that. Look at how nicely they were packed

I recommend buying from Debs_flock, she provides comics! (helped pass the ten minute car ride back home.)
