I had been turning two incubators full by hand and it was driving me crazy. We ordered parts to repair our one turner and I broke down and ordered another turner for the other bator. They should be delivered today!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!IT'S SET DAY!!!!! Morning all!I'm running out for an egg turner, coming back and getting ready. I am SOOOO excited, can you tell?? BRB!![]()

Will do! Thanks!Hi... If it were me, I'd move the 2 eggs closest to the egg turner mechanism. It gets HOT and definetly raises the heat of the egg right in front of it. Moving the second egg is just to be safe and because you have the extra room. I am borrowing an egg turner right now and the manufacturer blocked off that last whole all together. Just an FYI...
Good morning! Exciting day! We are boiling down Maple Sap outside, and I will be setting 46 eggs at noon inside!!!OOOHH! I am so EGG-cited!!!! after FINALLY getting my thermometers straightened out last night thanks to a lot of help from Oz and others on here
, my digital said 100.9 before I went to bed. Got up during the night and peeked, and saw it had gone down a bit - to 99.7F at 4 AM. Hmm, I thought, if that is as far as it goes it is ok. BUT this morning the digital said 98.2!!! Not good! I think I will have to set up a small space heater in that room for the night. It is a back empty bedroom, and our house thermostat goes down to 65 at night, and I know from previous tests that it gets down close to 60 in that room.
Oh well, hopefully the space heater will fix it. It is already back up to 100 this morning. Gotta go check on some late additions/fresh egg switch outs in the coop this morning! See you all later!![]()
