So I have a couple shipped eggs that are showing some veining, but the air sac is moving around... will they make it?  maybe?  looks very weird....

May be a detached air cell, I honestly didnt see much of this issue with my eggs. But from what I gather those with detached air cells can still and do make it!

This might sound like a stupid question but is today day 7 or is tomorrow? If you count the day that we set the eggs, then today would be day 7 but if you don't, then today is only day 6.

Whatever day of the week you set your eggs on is the same day you can expect them to start hatching. (Sometimes earlier. Sometimes later.) We set eggs at 12:00pm on Saturday, March 9th so our hatch day (Day 21) is Saturday, March 30th. Another way to look at it is in hours. Saturday, 3/9 at 12pm is 0 hours. 3/10 at 12am is 12 hours and 12pm on 3/10 is 24 hours. 24 hours = 1 day or Day 1 of incubation. When you read or hear "lock down or stop turning" on Day 18 it means after the full 24 hours of Day 18 has gone by you stop turning. So that would mean that Day 18 ends on Wednesday morning 3/27 @ 11:59am. Day 19 starts @ 12:00pm Wednesday and lockdown begins. Day 20 starts @ 12pm on Thursday and Day 21 starts @ 12pm on Friday and ends on Saturday @ 11:59am. So on Saturday at 11:59am you have had 21 days (each consisting of 24 hours) of full development.

Maybe..I had a few like that on some shipped eggs..they eventually attached. I tried not to move them much.

All my eggs are looking good except for my one d'uccle egg I put in there. It was her first egg, so that doesn't surprise me too much, I'm ok with it.
I've had the first 2 serama chicks from my birds hatch out in the last few days. The older one likes to sleep on his back or side with his legs straight out. It scares me, I think it's dead everytime I look in there. I had a poult and another serama hatch today, so I'm hoping now that he has company he'll knock off the playing possum.

Who stuck the chick in the book and pressed it like a flower?
