LOL
OMG we never go to Esthers anymore! I am not impressed I would sooner run into rissers on 422! I dont know what happened to esthers, good for breakfast and thats about all I like!

I haven't been there in years so it may have went down hill or off a cliff. Heisey's on 72 going into Lebanon use to be pretty good 20 years ago (miss the French Fries with gravy and cheese). For a guarented good meal I would go to Allentown for Caraba's I've eaten at them in 5 different states always had a great meal.

I did it! I did it! I'm caught up,!

'Bout Time!! LOL!!
Just set 36 eggs in the bator!!!
Have 18 quickly growing chicks in the brooder!!! Life is good!! Lol
Amen to that! Life Is Good!!

GOOD EVENING EVERYONE!! Just had a bad storm here in middle Ga. Lucky the power on flickered on and off several times. Got a little worried..bitties in brooder and eggs incubating. Everything has passed all is well. We got the edge of it.
It hailed here a few hours ago when it first hit us. Lightening is one of my biggest fears and we had plenty of it.
Quote: That happens to me with ANY fruit punch. Doesn't matter what brand. It's done that to me since I was a kid, but I always thought it was normal until I drank that super nasty stuff and dad told me not to puke. They decided I'm even weirder than we already know I am.

I can't wait till Blu Jr is here! I'm excited even though I always said I would never have kids, but I couldn't ask for a better partner. Even though it gets on my nerves when he won't let me do something I used to do all the time (like lifting certain things), but he's looking out for us and keeping me from hurting myself. I have never understood the word 'moderation' when it comes to certain things like yard work. He and dad ganged up on me over the lawn mower a few days ago because I mentioned the grass needed to be cut and I'm normally the one to do it.

Sorry, I got off track!

Gosh, I have no idea..................but one of his slate buddies is heading to Camp Kenmore soon, I'll post.
On one hand, I want turkeys. On the other, I don't.

Maybe I'll decide one day. He is beautiful though! Is he a Royal palm?

Just candled tonight. Bummed already. Took out 50% of them as clears.

LF cochins from local breeder, set 12 - 2 veining
Buff brahmas from my flock, set 2 - 2 veining
olive eggers shipped from byc member, set 18 - very dark in most some were light blue and I could see. Pulled 4, 14 continue on.

So 16 left with some of those possibly not viable because I cant see in them.

Hip hip hooray! Out of 15 shipped cream legbar eggs 14 have veins and movement!! The last one might be a blood ring? I am too much of a newbie to be sure so leaving it in the bator. Out of 13 shipped Blue Laced Red Wyandotte 7 have veins and movement 3 had shadows but no veins (that I could see) and 3 have smooth outer shells but with the candler light on them they look really spotty?? Is this what you refer to as porous? They were hard to see if there were veins...Our 2 homegrown Ameraucana have veins as does our homegrown Speckled Sussex...The 2 MaransX and Olive Eggers were too dark to see and out of the four mutts one was clear and 3 not sure or too dark. Anyway I am super pleased with my shipped eggs...just keepin my fingers crossed for no quitters!

so jealous I want cream legbars. keep loosing the Ebay bid. Last time waited to 4 second some one still beat me

Sorry guys but I am not caught up and doubt I will be able to.

I hope everyone's eggs are doing well. I just attempted to candle tonight but I am not sure. I could not see through the bcm eggs and some of the ees are too dark to see through. I could see in the Orp eggs and some of the ee ones. I did not make very many solid calls but some are veining and some have the little black moving dot (embryo). I am going to try again on Wed.
