I know who left the cochin eggs in her bator for you!Well,I just pulled out 2 more Cochins, so 1 left out of 15. I really hope that little bugger makes it. I did an eggtopsy on them, and the one died about 3 days ago, I think. The other was today or yesterday. The difference in development is amazing. The older one was amazingly chick like. Black down was growing, beak, toes, eyelids all there. It honestly looked only slightly smaller than my Seramas at hatch, and complete. So close little buddy. BUT now I know what the others must look like right now, so I'm all the more excited.![]()

Random question for ya'll:
This Easter, I am going to make these:
but to do so... I need one of these:
Also known as a wax pen or "kistka".
I've looked at all the hobby stores in our valley and can't find one! I could get one on the internet, but shipping is so expensive for such a small item! Does anyone either a) have any they could sell, or b) know how to make one?
All hen tiara and rooster crown entries must be submitted no later than Midnight, PDT on April 1st. This gives everyone a chance to harness creative juices after most of the Hatch-a-long participants have recovered from any family Easter festivities, after nearly every late, hatch-able chick has been released from its eggy prison, and there just might be some festive materials laying around to repurpose into designer masterpieces. Sally, that image of those tiaras is so cool! May I borrow it to jazz up the entry rules on the tiara contest thread?oh YES!! Harmony wants to make one! Do you have an end date? You can enter the Chicken Tiara contest without participating in the Hatch-a-long.
