[COLOR=333333][COLOR=000000]The petitions for adoption for both our kids are finalized.[/COLOR][/COLOR]

[COLOR=333333][COLOR=000000]We are now officially parents.[/COLOR][/COLOR]

[COLOR=333333][COLOR=000000]Its still a 6-9 month journey to get them to the USA but its really happening[/COLOR][/COLOR]

We did not hatch them ourselves but they are ours to the core

Someone slipped those cute chicks under a very broody mrs oz...they are hers! I can't wait to show Madddy these pics when she gets home from speech therapy.

could you use like a tupperwear container? do does it need holes to breath out the sides?

I do have a strawberry plastic container from the store, I could probably put maybe 4-5 eggs in it

I use a tupperware-type container with no issues. But then there's no lid on top. I hatch quail this way too. Below is a vid of my previous hatch (NOT this Easter hatch).

Nothing to do but sit here on the puter...still sick with the cruds so I'm trying to take it easy. DH made a big pot of rooster noodle soup last night. That and a couple of ice cold dos xx and I slept like a baby.

We truly are the lucky ones. The kids may never quite understand how their lives have changed.

I would like to join the 5th Annual Hatch Along!!!!

Don't know if it's too late....
But I did start my eggs to have them hatch on Saturday the 19th!

Started with 24 eggs from a Barred Rock Rooster and Barred Rock Hens, Black Sex Link Hens and Dominique Hens...

Down to 17 eggs now...
