What is the mom? I hatched some solid yellow Olive Eggers in my last hatch. They turned out to be splash. Dad is a Blue Ameraucana, and mom is a Blue Copper Marans. They're pretty!
I call that a do over!you will have to break pcs of the shell off him and then yes, use warm wet papertowel and get him all cleaned up, if he needs it you can run warm water and gently wash him with dawn dish soap, do NOT get in his NARES! (nostrils) its the quickest way to get them clean, keep them warm and then dry off with a papertowl or clean washrag and put him back in the bator to fluf up.
There is a dominant white and recessive white in chickens.

I set a day early on some (Friday) and some on Saturday. So far have had 2 of the 4 that were left to hatch early, but wondering if maybe it was because their eggs were small compared to the others. I have one more that is definitely alive, but not sure when it will hatch, assuming sometime between now and Sunday.SOOOOOO............if everyone set on Saturday, are 19 day old chicks haching now? or are there early setters here?
CONGRATS EVERYONE!
your all making me so excited for marshie's very first hatch!
