They should be in cartons if they have saddle air cells.My missing in action eggs are in lock down. I honestly do not remember my eggs, at least soo many of them rocking and rolling as much as these have the last couple of days. I think they are trying hard to get around the little area they have in there because of the air sacs.
@chicken pickin
dont forget to add that to the Cabinet thread so they all know you put eggs in!
I either need to buy a good cabinet incubator or use a broody. As luck would have it, my Ayam Kedu went broody. So I stuck some eggs under her.Oh man! Someone else with a wort hatch ever. I had 4 out of 36 hatch. Not a good feeling ey? Next time, you will be back to hatching chicks one after another..that's what I'm telling myself!

I love love HRIR's.
Having said that...my little cockerel, that crowed yesterday, went after my little dachshund when he was trying to go potty. We've been watching him because he always goes near Brody, our dog..but today, he actually pecked his butt.My poor little guy yelped, and ran to us at the door. We had to go out and put him somewhere away from the roo..the roo won't come near me.![]()
My HRIR hens have been great. I heard that the roosters were usually nice.![]()
