KEep supplementing and before you give the bottle, encourage attachment to mom. If you are new to sheep/goats besure both sides are getting milked. Eventually each baby will pick one side, so checking the mom often will tell you who is not drinking (maybe sick) and help mom prevent mastitis. PM me if you have questions.Me too. Shes not as strong as her sis. Still a bit wobbly her sister is already trying to jump kick and bounce around at a half day old
Aww Fred you are a sweetie!Sally, I'm so sorry to hear of your misfortunes. Just let me know how I can be of any help. We have Kittle/Horstman/Fogle and Nelson Reds. Nobody who loves Reds should be without them.

GOod planning!! THe cornish X got the old horse barn -- poor things need good protection.I think I've decided to buy another coop. I need something larger for growing out my meaties. After that, I can use it for juveniles, pairing up particular birds for breeding, separating anyone injured, excess roosters for the soup pot, etc. I don't have the time to build another one myself, so I'm gonna buy one.
Dang, I wish I had a big ole barn.
