Yep! Hubby wouldn't let me name his boy...I wanted it to be Khal Drogo, but nope...he said no way in h-e-double hockey stick! I tried Stark, but that was too corny. Any Lannister names were out of the question, too...he can't stand them (he watches too...I read all the books so it makes it hard for me to keep my mouth shut during the episodes since I know what's gonna happen lol). I couldn't come up with any GOT names he'd approve of. So he named him Tank.

Ok so I want you good peoples opinion on something. I'm thinking of trying to order some eggs from Dick Horstman for the hatch-a-long. I'm not sure if they're available but if you had to choose between White Araucana Bantams and Silver Laced Polish Bantams which would you order? They both look awesome and if I had the money I'd by a dozen of both but alas...

Hello everyone..I guess i am joining all the fun again this year..

This year i will have eggs available to people who need them for the hatch along too..

Hey you hatch-a-holics, I have way more eggs than I can hatch so if any of y'all need some, let me know.

I ordered Rhodebar eggs for the hatchalong, so I will have a limited amount of my own eggs available as well, but they are all barnyard mixes. The 21/25 I just hatched last weekend are the most amazing mix of colors! I will post a photo tomorrow. My new babies are going to my neighbor in a few weeks...and I am very jealous of all the beauties she will have.

At least I get to see them grow up!

What kinds do ya'll have? Anyone have SLW??? Or speckeled sussex? Or GLRW? Or BLRW? or any Wyandottes for that matter????

I so wanted to hatch in the Easter hatch a long, but something got into my coop and got 7 of my chickens only leaving me with 3 boys & 3 girls, they're all beat up pretty bad. So I took all the eggs that were in the coop and put them in the incubator. I hope I can get some out of them. They were out in the cold, so we'll see. Good Luck Everyone!!!

Lol not exactly. I have had 2 other emu eggs in the bator and one has been in there for about 33 days, so, it may be close

I'm also hoping to be hatching MWs (as well as guineas and HBRs) for this hatch-a-long and the Cinco de Mayo Turkey one, but our birds aren't laying yet. Are your MWs laying already? We a had a snafu with our lights this year, so our gals are working au naturel and the weather still stinks here. Hope they get the idea soon!
