The 5th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!

It looks like Pheasants take 23 days to hatch? Can someone confirm that for me before I add it to the Setting list?

Although I have already lined up plenty of eggs for the easter hatch along I sure dowish my girls would start laying again there is no excuse for them not to be I may end up getting rid of the whole flock and starting ober sooner then I planned if they do not straighten up Anybody have any thoughts I know they are not molting as they already did that and had started laying well again the weather has warmed up alot they are now free ranging again and still nada. I am planning on keeping some of the chicks I just hatched to replace all of them at this point but sure wouldn't mind having some eggs to eat.

Started collecting eggs today for the big set date. 7 so far, woot! Come on girls, roll those eggs.

Are you sure they're not just laying all their eggs in a clever place where you haven't found them? My chickens tend to go underneath our porch. I thought they werent laying, until one of the kids found 16 eggs under the porch

I have been told most hatch day 23 although some can be a bit longer.

I got my FIRST duck egg today!!! She is a TSC duck sold as a blue Swedish(she looks the part but is MUCH smaller and can fly). She is 11 months old
