Candled the OE eggs and all 14 are alive!!!!! So amazed! This is the first time I have EVER had 100% development start on shipped eggs! Hoping they all make it all the way, but I was shocked that the 2 eggs that had detached air cells on arrival started to develope at all. Go little eggs GO! Hope Everyone else on here is having equal luck with their hatches (sorry, too many on here to quote everyone)!

This is Rudolph. Last year I raised it from a batch of New Hampshires. I thought it was a rooster for the longest time but she gives me an egg all most every day even though she has spurs.

Congratulations! That is SO awesome!

Also wanted to tell you we got the insurance check for the first claim today - and learned something. The insurance amount is *total*, they don't 'refund' the postage part just because they didn't do their job; so make sure you insure for the merchandise amount *plus* the amount spent on postage (& insurance!).

sneak in a cup of coffee before there are another 100+ posts

I tried this and came back to 6 posts, I guess I was not quick enough. Now I am afraid to go back for a second cup...solution: move coffee pot closer to recliner.

One of the reasons I have a Keurig coffee brewer..... First cup takes about a minute and a half, subsequent cups less than a minute to brew. Perfect cup every time!

Anything helps. Even the WiFi connection at the Pub! :lol

I did wonder why you were calling that hen Rudolph!

New Hampshires do lay a lot of eggs!

Does anyone have shipping info for DMRippy that they can PM me with? I have eggs for Penny Hen that I am supposed to send to her to hatch that have to go out in the morning & neither of them have been online today to answer my PM.

This is the wild bunny that's been hanging around with my hens. My wife calls him Thumper. It started a couple weeks ago when we noticed him eating cracked corn with the girls. Now we can pet and feed it.
